The intention of Hula’s has always been to create a safe place for our customers, neighbors, and friends. This is why Hula’s had to close its doors.
We must continue with this intention by following the guidelines of the CDC (cdc.gov) .
If this epidemic continues on, as it is projected to do, the medical facilities on our beloved island will not be able to handle the onslaught. Do the right thing, continue to create a safe place in everything you do.

Hula’s Bar and Lei Stand, also known around the world simply as Hula’s, is not only a Legend among LGBTQ+, but is also known among everyone as the epitome of “Aloha” for ALL! Hula’s has been serving Hawaii and our international guests for 46 years!

Hula’s is most popularly known for its original location in the Kuhio District in Waikiki under the Big Banyan Tree.  In 1998, Hula’s Bar and Lei Stand relocated to its current location at the Waikiki Grand Hotel, offering even more spectacular views of Diamond Head and the gorgeous Waikiki Beach sunsets. As with the life of Hula’s, we are once again evolving to become a restaurant featuring our award-winning food with daily beverage specials.

It is our mission to constantly strive to provide superb food and entertainment for our guests. Hula’s open-air restaurant is uniquely situated in Waikiki with views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. Our guests enjoy Hawaii’s best LIVE MUSIC, served with sumptuous Food and Beverages while enjoying the Entertaining and Attentive Hula’s team.

Hula’s is more than a unique Entertaining Gathering Place, it’s a state of mind (Aloha).

In our Post-Covid-19 world, Hula’s is taking extra precautions for our Ohana. We have traditional restaurant style seating that observes safe distancing practices. All items used by our patrons are disposable.
We are using a new online reservation system that allows our Ohana to reserve their tables in advance. We have sanitation stations set up for easy access to hand sanitizers. Come see how Hula’s is making dining both safe and fun.
